EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Police say they arrested a driver who was 3.5 times the authorized alcohol limit after at the very least five folks referred to as 911.

Officers say the calls began coming in around 4:40 p.m. Monday.

They say witnesses reported seeing a SUV hit the median of the Lloyd Expressway near the Most important Avenue exit. They are saying the crash prompted a flat tire and the automotive to smoke, but the driver kept going.

Different callers say the driver was all around the street and now lacking a front tire.

They say he eventually stopped at a automotive dealership and appeared “super drunk.”

Employees informed police the motive force, 30-year-old Jordon Mattingly, was trying to sell his SUV.

Police say he had swelling and scratches as if he had simply been in a crash.

They are saying Mattingly smelled of alcohol and virtually fell a number of occasions. Officers say he examined .291 on a conveyable breath check.

Police say inside his SUV, they discovered Four Loko cans and a can of White Claw.

Mattingly is dealing with a number of expenses.

He is the son of the manager for the Miami Marlins and former professional baseball participant, Don Mattingly.
