Two juveniles have been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automobile into a concrete security barrier near the White Home, the U.S. Secret Service mentioned.
A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to pull over the car about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.
The automotive slammed right into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at 17th Road and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers stated.
Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled in the front across the road from a Secret Service guard put up, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the highway.
There have been two juveniles within the car. Each were taken to a hospital and at the moment are in stable condition, officers said. We do not know their precise ages.
They’re anticipated to face costs.
D.C. police are investigating.
