EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Alabama fugitive Casey White was taken into custody in Indiana, and his suspected confederate, Vicky White, died Monday evening from accidents sustained by a self-inflicted gunshot wound as authorities prepared to arrest the pair, legislation enforcement sources confirmed.

Update 9:25 p.m. EDT Might 9: Vanderburgh County Sheriff Dave Wedding ceremony confirmed Vicky White’s death to The Related Press simply after 9 p.m. EDT Monday. In response to the Vanderburgh County Sheriff, the police pursuit began when the couple was noticed near the sheriff’s office and led to a rollover crash near Evansville Regional Airport, WXIN reported.

Casey White surrendered to police following the crash.
