Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of consuming Large Macs day-after-day

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum Information Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Huge Mac streak started on May 17, 1972.

“I’ve only missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I count every Massive Mac. I’ve counted every Big Mac I’ve eaten my entire life,” Gorske mentioned.

Gorske eats two Massive Macs a day.

“All by life right here, a lot of people stated, ‘You’ll be useless before you attain 50 years of consuming Large Macs.’ I suppose I proved them improper,” he said.

His son is just not surprised at his father’s persistence.

“We at all times went to McDonald’s with my dad and had glad meals. I always beloved my hen nuggets, and my brother always cherished his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s simply an everyday life type of factor for us,” he stated.

Gorske’s son has more of a diverse weight loss program.

“I used to eat chicken nuggets on daily basis. I used to eat cheeseburgers on daily basis, however ultimately you simply get sick of it. I don’t know the way he does it, however he actually does,” he said.

Gorske says he'll proceed consuming Big Macs with a Coca-Cola on the facet till he dies.

“Lots of instances individuals will say, ‘You look like I’m eating a Huge Mac for the first time,’” Gorske mentioned. “I assume that’s how I really feel sometimes. They’re that good to me, and there’s really nothing else I’d slightly eat,” he said.
