Victims, parents of Oxford school capturing victims sue faculty employees

Victims and families of victims of the November Oxford school taking pictures in Michigan filed a lawsuit in opposition to the Oxford college district and college directors, accusing them of violating legally mandated faculty security policies and of violating students' constitutional rights.

The lawsuit accused administrators of failing to notify regulation enforcement of the actions of the accused shooter main as much as the capturing.

Jacqueline Kubina, a second teacher named in the swimsuit who found Crumbley wanting up ammunition in class, can be accused of violating the legislation by failing to report it to legislation enforcement.

The suit additionally alleges that Ejak, the dean of students, and Hopkins, a pupil counselor, failed to search Crumbley's backpack or have local legislation enforcement search it the day of the shooting despite having "cheap trigger to take action." The defendants' actions have been "reckless" and put the lives of the victims "at substantial risk of great and speedy hurt," the lawsuit alleged. The lawsuit claimed that due to the college and district directors' data before the taking pictures started, "it was foreseeable that [Crumbley] would perform such acts of violence."

The lawsuit also alleged that the district violated the victims' constitutional proper to be free from danger.
