Teen arrested after mom seen son had gun at Texas school drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Grey Information) - A number of businesses responded to a middle faculty in Texas Friday morning after a teenager’s mom noticed he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock inform KCBD a mom was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Middle School around 9 a.m. when she seen the firearm. The teenager by no means made it contained in the constructing, and he ran from the school.
The Lubbock Police Division responded to the world along with a number of different companies in an attempt to seek out him.
The teen was found near the school’s campus and taken into custody.
Authorities stated the 15-year-old could be dealing with a felony weapons cost.
