A walkout may not necessarily change legislation, Janoff mentioned, but these actions show "college students are nonetheless united on this."
She stated that though most students aren't sufficiently old to vote, they still wish to see change and are willing to take measures to have their voices heard in politics.
"College students do not must be quiet about it simply because they seem to be a child," Janoff mentioned.
