Lakpa Sherpa and several other different climbers took benefit of favorable climate to achieve the 8,849-meter (29,032-foot) summit early in the morning, her brother and expedition organizer Mingma Gelu mentioned. He mentioned she was in good health and was safely descending from the peak.
Sherpa, 48, never bought an opportunity to get a formal schooling because she needed to begin earning a living by carrying climbing gear and provides for trekkers. Thursday's successful ascent was her 10th — probably the most instances any girl has climbed Everest — and she or he has always stated she wished to inspire all women in order that they too can achieve their dreams.
