VICTORIA, Texas -- The Sandy Hook families' lawsuits towards Infowars host and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones for calling the 2012 Newtown faculty taking pictures a hoax seem poised to renew soon, based on agreements revealed Friday in the chapter circumstances of a few of Jones' corporations.

The chapter filings of Infowars, Jail Planet TV and IW Health last month delayed the lawsuits filed in Texas and Connecticut. Jones has already lost the defamation lawsuits, and the filings got here every week earlier than a jury in Texas was set to start considering how a lot money Jones should pay the families of victims within the Sandy Hook Elementary School capturing.

The capturing at Sandy Hook Elementary College in Newtown, Connecticut, killed 20 children and six educators.

The households of eight of the victims and an FBI agent who responded to school sued Jones, Infowars and others, saying they've been subjected to harassment and demise threats from Jones’ followers due to the hoax conspiracy. Jones has since mentioned he believes the capturing did happen.
