Paul Pelosi: Nancy Pelosi’s husband arrested on DUI charges

Paul Pelosi, 82, was arrested at 11:44 p.m. PT and charged with driving underneath the influence and driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or larger, in response to the Napa County Felony Justice Network's public reserving report. Both expenses are misdemeanors.

Pelosi was attempting to cross SR-29 when his 2021 Porsche was hit by a 2014 Jeep traveling northbound on the highway, in response to a collision report from the California Freeway Patrol, which does not identify either driver as being at fault within the crash. Troopers have been called to the scene just earlier than 10:30 p.m., the report said.

There have been no injuries reported in the crash and the Jeep's driver was not arrested, the report mentioned.

CNN has reached out to the freeway patrol and the Napa County Sheriff's Workplace for extra details.

Bail was set at $5,000 in keeping with the booking report, and records indicate Pelosi was launched Sunday morning.

"The Speaker won't be commenting on this non-public matter which occurred while she was on the East Coast," a statement from Drew Hammill, Pelosi's spokesperson, said. CNN reached out for an up to date statement after the collision report was released.
