Man arrested in reference to “faculty shooter” signs present in 3 New Hampshire communities

BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A person was arrested Friday after multiple indicators saying "school shooter" had been present in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Division of Security announced. Man Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces a number of prices. 

An increased amount of cops have been placed at faculties within the communities on account of the signs. A number of schools initiated lockdowns as a precaution shortly after.

Hanson allegedly placed the indicators across the communities, the Division of Security stated, however they determined there is no such thing as a credible menace right now.

One such signal was written on a paper plate. The protection division released a photo of the plate but blurred a part of it "to guard the integrity of the investigation." 

Hanson was arrested on a felony charge of legal threatening and three misdemeanor fees together with false report back to law enforcement, false public alarm and legal threatening. He's being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a hearing scheduled for Tuesday.

No different suspects have been charged at the moment.
