EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Police say they arrested a driver who was 3.5 occasions the authorized alcohol limit after no less than 5 people known as 911.
Officers say the calls started coming in round 4:40 p.m. Monday.
They say witnesses reported seeing a SUV hit the median of the Lloyd Expressway near the Primary Road exit. They say the crash prompted a flat tire and the automobile to smoke, but the driver stored going.
Other callers say the driving force was all around the road and now missing a entrance tire.
They are saying he ultimately stopped at a automotive dealership and appeared “tremendous drunk.”
Employees advised police the driver, 30-year-old Jordon Mattingly, was making an attempt to sell his SUV.
Police say he had swelling and scratches as if he had just been in a crash.
They say Mattingly smelled of alcohol and virtually fell several occasions. Officers say he tested .291 on a transportable breath check.
Police say inside his SUV, they found 4 Loko cans and a can of White Claw.
