A lady visiting Yellowstone Nationwide Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officers stated Tuesday.
The 25-year-old girl, who was visiting from Ohio, was not identified in a information launch from the park.
The girl approached the feminine bison Monday morning after it came close to a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, close to Old Trustworthy geyser, the park mentioned.

An estimated 2,300 to 5,500 bison reside on the park, and they have injured more people than another animal, the park stated.
When the customer got here inside 10 ft of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 feet in the air, the park mentioned.
The lady had puncture wounds and different accidents and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service mentioned. Her condition was unknown Tuesday.
Two other people were also close to the animal when it gored the girl, the park mentioned. The discharge didn’t say if they had been injured.
The park warned individuals to remain 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and not less than 100 yards from bears and wolves.
CORRECTION (June 1, 2022, 12:07 p.m. ET) A previous model of this article misstated the severity of the girl’s injuries. She was gored by a bison and suffered puncture wounds. She was not killed.
