A lady visiting Yellowstone Nationwide Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officers stated Tuesday.
The 25-year-old girl, who was visiting from Ohio, was not recognized in a news release from the park.
The lady approached the female bison Monday morning after it got here near a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, near Old Devoted geyser, the park said.

An estimated 2,300 to five,500 bison reside at the park, and they have injured more people than every other animal, the park stated.
When the customer got here within 10 toes of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 toes in the air, the park said.
The woman had puncture wounds and other injuries and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service mentioned. Her condition was unknown Tuesday.
Two other individuals had been additionally near the animal when it gored the girl, the park said. The release didn’t say if they were injured.
The park warned people to remain 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and at the least 100 yards from bears and wolves.
