A lady visiting Yellowstone National Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officials stated Tuesday.
The 25-year-old lady, who was visiting from Ohio, was not identified in a news release from the park.
The woman approached the feminine bison Monday morning after it came close to a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, close to Outdated Trustworthy geyser, the park mentioned.

An estimated 2,300 to five,500 bison stay at the park, and so they have injured more folks than some other animal, the park mentioned.
When the visitor got here within 10 ft of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 ft within the air, the park stated.
The girl had puncture wounds and different injuries and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service said. Her situation was unknown Tuesday.
Two other individuals have been also close to the animal when it gored the woman, the park said. The discharge didn’t say in the event that they have been injured.
The park warned folks to stay 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and at the very least 100 yards from bears and wolves.
CORRECTION (June 1, 2022, 12:07 p.m. ET) A previous model of this text misstated the severity of the lady’s accidents. She was gored by a bison and suffered puncture wounds. She was not killed.
